It may have been because there was a street market going on in town, but the trains were packed like sardines.

Was on this train when I visited Gotokuji Temple. Along the way, we can get to see Japan Residential Area. Nice view with quiet surrounding. No matter how far you travel, you will only need to pay 150yen.

Convenient, a little nostalgic even though cars on the track have been renewed and thoroughly modern.

Used this public transport to go to Gotokuji Temple to see the Beckoning Cats. The rail ticket PASMO allows travel across this system along with the Metro and JR line😃

The Setagaya Line starts at Sangen Jaya and connects the station to the neighbourhoods around it. Just a two car tram but very efficiently run. Charming and gives you a view of small houses along the tracks and the stuff of every day Japanese life.

Look for the twice a year antique fairs and go then. Rumble through quiet neighborhoods on this out-of-a-museum type rail car. Fun trip. Kids will love it.
