New swanky mall connected to the subway. High end shopping and high tech attractions to get people in. But strangely sparse of crowds.

A cut above any shopping in Tokyo. It is about 10 years old. The various shops are high end and mostly expensive. The food offerings come in all price ranges. Beautiful, elegant and modern.

I wouldn't come here just to visit, but if you are nearby you might stumble across it. Or if you have money to spend then visit! We stayed in the area which is how we visited.

This complex of six buildings houses shops of fashion, interior design, restaurants and bars, services (one of which is a dog-grooming parlor) etc. The building that houses the Galleria is modern, spotless, and architecturally interesting. A visit to the adjacent 21-21 Museum is recommended.

Akasaka / Roppongi
Not so long ago the Akasaka and Roppongi areas were
famous for their nightlife, high-class restaurants,
bars and clubs. More recently, with the opening of
Roppongi Hills, Tokyo Midtown and Akasaka Sacas, the
area has declared itself as the most fashionable spot
to be seen. The area also hosts the National Art
Center and the Mori Art Museum and lots of trendy art
