Nice gardens with some lovely plants, peacocks wandering about, also turtles at the pond. Nice place to get out of the sun and enjoy the peace, although quite a few people about didn't seem too crowded. It was worth the visit just to see the...More

During a two-week holiday in Gran Canaria, my wife and Las Hesperides Tropical Garden just outside Arucas in the north of the island. The entry fee was Euro 6pp which seemed very reasonable until compared to the free Jardin Botanico Canario Viera y Clavijo near...More

My wife adores gardens and all things botanical and this is an extraordinary place to visit. We almost had the place to ourselves until lunchtime and it was most rewarding. So many good specimens in a very pleasant spot. We thoroughly enjoyed this place.

I walked along the main road to the gardens from the bus station but returned along a dirt track which was a safer option. Gardens very tranquil and worth a visit, I only saw 1 peacock.

If you like a quiet place with some stunning trees and cactusses, you definitely should go there. It is never busy.

Lovely gardens, easy to find. Very tranquil. Shame more people don't visit, we had to ring a bell to get in!

These gardens are quite fantastic and I would recommend them as an attraction. We were holidaying in the South and decided to escape the sand for a day trip. Two buses got us to Arucas and, after chatting to a lovely man in the Tourist...More

Unless you know where it is this place is difficult to find from the adjacent road - no indicators on the roadside at all! We arrived at 9:45 a.m. (opening is advertised as from 9:00 a.n.) and the chains were still across the entrance! On...More

For six euros each, this was definitely overpriced. Nice enough gardens, but little or no explanatory signs, barely even any names of the plants. Quiet, relaxing. Nice peacocks, probably would not bother again.
