We walked the beautiful promenade in the early evening and were impressed. Very clean and well used by families. The beach was a little empty due to the time of day, but from our boat it looked very impressive the next day.
More of a Spanish town than nearby Mojacar with its more international population, Garrucha beach is great for families, especially the section behindo the breakwater. The harbour is often very interesting too. H
Clean, soft sand, clear sea. Large beach split into two parts by the fishing port and marina. Ample parking, lifeguards during summer months. Never crowded even during August. Surrounded by myriad restaurants and bars and the newly refurbished marina.
