It's one if the last atlantic forest in Europe, called Fragas in Galicia, if you are travelling around north of Spain, you must go, ancient trees, millenary ferns, the Eume river Andrés of course Caaveiro, a monastry into the heart of the forest

We spent a day walking through this park and really enjoyed it, we were there when the chestnuts were falling. It was lovely scenery and even has a small Hydro Electric plant

The way to get there is magical, when you arrive is ALL just too pretty and please go with time so you can fully enjoy the place. To walk, to bike, to kayak, all is perfect and good to take small children
