This was an interesting museum imbued with symbolism, however almost none of the highly text based displays were in English so although we were given a brief overview of each room in English, I feel we missed out on a great deal though our lack...More

Place has a great name but it's misleading. It's telling you almost nothing about the Alps and its fauna & flora but instead tells you a story about Galtur and its citizens. Which is OK but we did not come for that. Place has few...More

The museum is free with the Silvretta card and good alternative program in case of bad weather. It showcases the history of Galtur and the Silvretta valley in an informative and innovative way.

I learnt about the devastating avalanche in Galtur in 1999 and the science behind its occurrence. I loved the spherical coordinates room challenging Cartesian reference norms. Surrounding scenery is stunning.

We enjoyed our visit here spending easily 2 hours and enjoying it all. There is a lot of history about the 1999 avalanche in Galtur and the film is highly recommended. It is only in German but the English subtitles are reliable and good. The...More
