This is the highlight of our annual holiday on the Garden Route and my home is starting to look a branch of The Potter.

So many gorgeous goodies to choose from and all at very reasonable prices. One of the best things is that you don't feel under any pressure to buy and aren't hassled by the owner/potter Rudi or his staff. They are more than happy to let you "potter" around and explore. Be sure to leave plenty of time as there is so much to see.

I love visiting the Potter. They have loads of interesting items for sale at reasonable prices. We have bought several ashtrays from The Potter over the years and highly recommend. Service is great! Easy to find!

Loved this quaint little shop full of awesome craftsmanship, design and fun!! All the potterywork is stunning to look at and we loved all the pottery travel photos the owner has put up around the little shop! It is obvious that the owner absolutely loves what she is doing... you cannot leave this place without purchasing a little something as a fantastic memory of the whole Garden Route experience! The service was great and all my treasured purchases were carefully wrapped up - thank you!

This active pottery workshop is well worth a visit. Beautiful dinner sets, interesting fun items, tagines, plant pots, and wot nots. Spent a good hour here just browsing and getting an eye full of beautiful locally made pottery items and wishing I did not need to fly home so that I could buy everything I wanted. Truly a worthwhile stopover halfway between plettenberg bay and knysna.

We stopped her on our meandering down the Garden Route. I am not fond of pottery but this visit was well worth it. Saw creative stuff being made on site and even bought some beautiful mugs. Visit and enjoy.

We stopped by here to see if they could supply us with skillets for a reataurant in Plett which they unfortunately could not. But we did find some beautiful plates and platters to use in the restarant. They have beautiful hand made Tagines and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

We called here to see the amazing range of pottery. Everything from salt and pepper to wash hand basins. Some beautiful work! Some food products are available to
purchase eg olives, tapenade, etc. Worth popping in. No pressure to purchase!! Good parking!

I loved this place. So quaint, full of knooks and corners filled with interesting creative ceramics. From ring holders to wasen jugs, olives to serving platters in contemporary designs. Potter’s wheels are in evidence as well as the sweet lady painting away behind a counter. Worth a visit!
