Something I wish I read more was that it is off the beaten trail. In america we have more or less the experience that things are sort of right off the road, this goes back a ways, and the road isn't perfectly smooth, nothing wrong...More

A deep cave, more impressive than what I expected. If you have very young children, you will need to carry them and there are many stairs so take it into account..

We have visited the "Grotte de Baume Obscure" and "Saint Cezaire Caves" in the same day. It was absolutely great to explore the caves and, in my opinion, very educative. My kids loved them. This one is a "walk-through" cave, which makes it quite interesting,...More

Drove here from Antibes and it was a longer trip than anticipated, with traffic and the very poor access road at the end. If you were visiting Grasse or were in the area, it is worth visiting. The teenagers particularly enjoyed it. The tour is...More

The road to the cave is woeful, and to add to the poor condition there is currently a diversion that takes you along a stone construction road - but it is worth the drive! The caves are amazing, a little slippy underfoot so perhaps not...More

We did the chasse aux trésors, where you need to answer a few riddles about the visits and try to find all the dragons and eggs hidden inside. They were really interested, and of course paying attention to try to find the dragons. The tour...More

This is a really good attraction - simple and fun, and educational. The walk through the caves is self guided with a well laid out English (or other) language commentary. Very interesting and pretty underground areas. Plus, the staff working in the attraction are very...More

Nice looking cave and especially nice on a hot summer's day. There are few quite spectacular views, but didn't really care for the plastic bats etc in few places, but they didn't bother either. For a warning, some stairs are slippery and few are very...More
