The Abbey of Saint-Gilles is a Benedictine monastery founded by Saint Giles, it is included in the UNESCO Heritage List, as part of the World Heritage Sites of the Routes of Santiago de Compostela in France.

The site is under major reconstruction, everything is covered by scaffolding and not worth a visit in such a condition

the facade of the Abbey is quite fascinating: a lot of the faces have been damage but the one who are not are superbe. On the Santiago path this abbey is worth the visit.
