Very large mostly intact exterior walls and towers, large empty moat currently being renovated. Unable to comment on interior as visited during week in may when there is no access, only open at weekends and festival days during April may June, walk around exterior still...More

The castle is nice, as the town, but the conditions are not perfect, not a lot to see or experience.

It stands impressively next to the road. Stop, park your car and have a look. Even if the place is closed you can still enjoy the romantic ruins from the outside.

The castle is simply a ruined place where only most defense walls are still in place. We had the opportunity to be there during some local medieval festivities which gave life to the place. Not sure that you would make a long visit of it,...More
