The place is hughe so take a whole day to stroll around, inside and outside. From Torino it is a short bus ride (buy tickets in news stand). We learnt a lot about Italy's history and the building is absolutly worth the visit. There where...More

This is a beautiful building in a magnificent setting below the mountains but the interior was dark and dreary with little explanation other than in Italian. We were left dissappointed

Beautiful castle, fascinating to see how the prestigious House of Savoy family lived in opulence. Much more worthwhile and better than any museum in city centre of Turin (those were frankly waste of time)

The palace building and the gardens have been restored. However the interiors are empty and one can only imagine how magnificent it must have been. The stamp of grandness is everywhere.

Beautiful gardens and building, a pity the interiors have been so damaged in the past that they do not live up to the hype. Too many guided tours let in at the same time meant the first 30 mins was just trying to lose them...More

We visited la Reggia in April 2018 and were just overwhelmed by the number of rooms, paintings this place has. Very recommended to visit , for families and solo travelers alike.

We enjoyed visiting the huge palace were the Savoia kings lived in the past. Along the visits there are a few multimedia features showing the life of nobles and servants in the past. We saw many rooms with luxury old furniture and important paintings, with...More

Large palace with a nice garden and a history lesson with the audio guide but no furniture. So you are literally walking through empty rooms with a few paintings of people who lived in the palace and a few tapestries. Not worth the visit at...More
