Booked online, can choose your seats. Lovely little place, even an intermission in the middle of the film, enjoyed every minute of it. Had a pre cinema tea/dinner at the tea shop in the woods just a short walk away.

Wonderful ! It's like stepping back in time when you visit the Kinema in the woods. The whole experience starts when you step through the doors. From the ticket booth to the lighting and seating. Unadulterated nostalgia ! Go and enjoy.

This place is in a time warp, what a magical experience, seeing a film in an old setting, and in the interval up pops a chap playing an organ. This truly is worth taking time out to visit and watch a film.

We went to see King of Thieves in this lovely cinema. What an experience. The organist during the intermission just made it a perfect evening.

A great and entertaining night out and the Organist at the Intermission was just brilliant. The Kinema takes you back to a different era with lovely and friendly staff. A properly unashamed and old fashioned wallow in nostalgia.

The Kinema has to be visited as it is very quirky and very, very different to any other cinema. It still has an interval and sometimes the organist rises up during it. The foyer is full of photos of the old stars. If you want...More

Despite living in Lincoln I had never visited the Kinema, preferring to go to the local, expensive multiplex. However I very much regret doing so now after my first of many visits to this nostalgic, historic and utterly charming cinema. Granted it won’t have the...More

Decided to come here to watch the Incredibles 2, wow what a treat. The Kinema is beautiful and retains that old world charm. The staff are friendly, helpful as can be and the seats were comfortable. Prices are good and soon they will be extending...More

If there is a movie on then the doors are open. Check what time the movie starts and go fifteen minutes before to look round.

I don't think it matters where you sit to be honest, just enjoy the experience.
