The beach sweeps around the sheltered coast East and west of Damgan. It's a great place for doing absolutely nothing except relax and listen to the waves. Busy in mid- July and particularly so after 4 o'clock when mums with schoolchildren arrive. Plenty of facilities...More

Plenty of space to enjoy here to enjoy safe bathing along this stretch of sand. Some rock pools towards the far end beyond the L'Albatros hotel where it tends to be quieter.

Whether the tide is in or out there is a delightful walk along the beach either towards Penerf of towards the small town of Damgan.

In the winter Damgan is closed up. The majority of the houses near the coast are holiday. On the upside you get the beach to yourself. In the summer I am sure it gets really busy.

The beach is worth a visit on a sunny day, and is very popular with tourists and locals alike. Good for walking in the sea and picking clams.
