I understand the history of the site, but basically for the price of admission and what is there, you can look at pictures and get a better view than actually being there. I would have chosen to spend the money and time in another location.
This place is fantastic. A century of archaeology has shown us a portion of a wonderful Roman military settlement. Beautifully uncovered and very evocative.
Very helpful lady on the reception desk too. Well worth a visit.
