This little museum seemed promising but turned out to be a huge disappointment: there is NOT A WORD of English about the displays etc. So, if you are an English speaker with no German proficiency, stay away, it's not worth your money. Sorry.
VERY DISAPPOINTING. No English, in 2019? Really? :-(

In 1979 a treasure trove of Roman metallic artifacts was found under a Weißenburg vegetable garden. It included statues of gods, wine containers and other objects. 114 metal objects in all were found. These are the highlights of this museum.
Wießenburg was the northern boundary of the Roman Empire in this part of the country from the end of the first century until the third century.
The museum is on 3 levels, with the highlight pieces on the second level.
If this museum was in a major tourist city, hundreds of people would be queuing for this exhibition every day. The exhibition is only described in German. I would recommend an English audio guide if you do not have a translator. There is an additional charge for the audio guide.
We bought combined passes for all three museums, with this museum being the highlight.
