We woke up early and arrived before any other tourists. The lady at the front gate charged us more than the pamphlet said, but we paid it anyway. The look out point is right at the top. Then you can choose to hike down to...More

A friend who does tours in Costa Rica told us to come to Bajos del Toro to see waterfalls and this strange, light blue cloudy water. I was more interested in the cloudy water since we've lived here for several months and we've seen lots...More

Fantastic Waterfall! The hike is steep but completely worth it. We also saw tons of hummingbirds here so have your camera ready! We think it’s the best thing we’ve seen in CR during our 3 months in the country.

really nice waterfall, not the most amazing in the area but it was very nice. The stairs are well maintained, but are a little bit tough when going down

95 meter tall (approximately 300 feet) water fall. Incredible views from all angles. More than 350 steps to go down and then you have to go up. Great cardio. Wear your shoes.

The waterfall is 17 miles from our location but it is well over an hour away and a 5 mile stretch of serious rough roads. The climb up the mountain is curvy and beautiful. Once at our destination we were able to walk the beautiful...More

This is one of those places that is not yet in the lonely planet so you find it via blogs and/or tripadvisor. But therefore: it is definitely not as touristy as a lot of other places but definitely not less beautiful! Great drive from San...More

If you want to see a really impressive waterfall you should pick this one. The view is outstanding, a little expensive price for the ticket, especially for foreigners. But worth it if you get the chance. I recommend you to go really early in the...More
