Wonderful place with the Miraculous Water by the Altar. Very solemn place for praying and admiring the church at the same time.

Dauis Church is a must see attraction when in Panglao. This old church was badly damaged during the 2013 earthquake. The restoration is just amazing as has brought the Church back to its former glory.

What a beautiful place. Upon entering, you look up and see these three panels of art. And this art is placed around the rim of the ceiling. A short visit, but a wonderful one.

There are two beautiful churches in Bohol in my opinion. One of the two is this church. It is breathtaking inside. I feel peace inside. I would like to visit this church again when I visit Bohol.

The ceiling was surprisingly detailed with fine art. Despite the renovation being done, I was able to peek into the so-called miraculous well.

It was being renovated when we got there but it was the only one who had tourguides on stand by if you had questions.

According to history a well miraculously appeared at the bottom of the altar when the people ran out of food and water at the time there was a pirate invasion. Some claim that the water has healing powers. Outside the church a little store full...More
