Well I must say after I heard the dishwasher had broken down over the holiday period I was pleasantly surprised how well the staff coped. Fantastic service, fabulous food( only waited 10 minutes) . Staff happy and full of humour,surprising as they’re working over Xmas....More

Stunning Tudor Lodge. Walking round you can imagine really being there in Tudorv tmes. Friendly helpfull staff.Well worth a visit

Ten minute walk from Chingford Station, free admission to three floors of a 16C hunting lodge built by Henry Vlll. Good views over Epping Forest with friendly knowledgable staff. Nice forrest walks and pub next door.

This amazing building has been here since Tudor times. You get a real sense of time when you visit. Admission is free and it is well worth a visit.

Fabulous environment and food. A little place in the middle of an historical ancient forest. And, don’t forget to visit Elizabeth lodge!

I actually preferred this before the relatively new visitor centre was built but I guess I need to accept that it is more attractive now to new visitors. The views from the visitor centre are superb and you can see the wonderful Epping Forest all...More

The old hunting lodge in chingford on the edge of the Epping Forest is worth a quick stop and a look at the past. The Lodge has been nicely restored and includes rooms with antique furnishings. Admission is free. Since it is a three-story building...More

I don't think the Hunting Lodge would be available for such an occasion, but literally next door the adjacent restaurant 'The Larder at Butler's Retreat' may be able to accommodate you.
