Beautiful views on the way up inside the cable car. The ride in the cable car is very steady and comfortable, but a bit crowded. Once at the top there are magnificent views to be seen as well as a self-service cafe.

Hike to the top. It's worth it. Great exercise and amazing views of the entire city below. Have a drink at the top to celebrate. Then take the cable car down :)

Enjoyed the rotating cable car floor and the views from the top. Dress warmly as it’s breezy. Lots of opportunities to take photos with dramatic drop offs and backgrounds

Lovely scenic walk along Pipe Track on Table Mountain with never-ending view of Camps Bay. Nice brisk walk with no real climbing - just a slight uphill. Many friendly hikers and some with their dogs. We walked 6.5 km in and out - distance depends...More

A must visit place to see. views are amazing from Table Mountain. Just be careful and keep to the main streets in Capet Town as i'm afraid to say crime is on the rise here. We have visited CapeTown several times and never had any...More

I am not sure, but I doubt it. They only mention children 4-17 so perhaps not for younger?
