In case you like to visit Table Mountain make sure you are very early in the morning. We had to wait in the traffic jam 2.5 hrs to drive 4.5 km from Capetown to Table Mountain. The road was closed as a result of overcowded tourists buses and cars. You can't park you car and have to walk uphill km..to... More

First visit and it takes your breath away (literally) With pre booked tickets we avoided the long queues. The panoramas are stunning. The paths are generally even and easy to traverse. The cafè serves a wide variety of food and beverages. Unmissable.

You could have look of Whole Cape Town from the Top of the Mountain . This place requires weather conditions to be normal and never try on windy day because any time they may ask you to come back if it is windy . View from the Top is Fantastic .

Very touristy so if you want to ride the cable car up get there before they open. Also check the weather, any amount of wind will close down the cable car.

A must do while visiting Cape Town. We did the Platteklip Gorge hike which offered stellar views and then took the cableway back down

We visited on a very sunny and hot day in April. The views are truly stunning and not to be forgotten. Excellent information and well laid out pathways. Excellent flora and lots of wildlife. This experience will remain with me for a long time.

Waited until clear blue sky day and drove up to close to cable car. not so great with parking so if you can get the bus its probably better. There were long queues but split into tickets and non tickets so recommend going online before hand and get your tickets on to your phones. Much easier. Journey up amazing and... More

There can be long queues but our guide got us there early so we could see the amazing views. The cloud also seems to move a lot so when you get a good day, suggest you go for it.
