I imagine the place must have been so beautiful and serene before it became riddled with litters, plastic bags, detergent, etc. The waterfalls are breathtaking for sure if you could ignore all the litters floating in the water. It's really a shame! It's also a...More

Good place but zero maintenance. Overall a great place to visit, just one hour drive from Nairobi. Unfortunately no facilities and maintenance is done. Fee for foreigner is huge.

this attraction site is on the Garissa road. It is an awesome site where one can view the 14 falls and divers on the site.

We drove here from Nairobi for a quick visit to the falls. We are Kenyan residents but were still charged tourist prices after having shown our Kenyan driving licences. It would have cost us USD 50 for the family to get in. Which is 15x...More

It was the first time to visit the place and had so much expectation. It is a fairly good place if you have company. However there are a few buts. the water stinks and its polluted. And the tour guides, they us charged 4500. Jeez!

10 years ago the river was clean. Now the water stinks of effluent from nairobi. The entrance fee is fairly expensive. The guides tried to charge us Ksh 4500 to be guided from the car park to the falls (30 metres). There was rubbish everywhere,...More

We had fun and it was adventurous crossing the fourteen falls. But the water was dirty. The county government need to take an intiative on sewage disposal. The water is polluted.

The waterfalls themselves could be one of Kenya's best natural attractions as they are wide and spectacular. However, the management completely lets the place down. I have no idea what the entrance fees go towards. The river in so polluted it is green and foaming....More
