For such a tiny town, this museum was excellent, and showed the history of Himeville. They had some very interesting pieces. No charge - just a donation if you wish

This museum is certainly worth seeing. It showcases the very interesting history of the area. The exhibits are in very good condition with full explanations attached to each one. The place is very neat and tidy the lady in the front office is very friendly. It is not often that you see something like this in a small village.

We were visiting the area and were looking for an activity and decided to go visit the museum. It did not look like much from the outside and we didn't expect to spend more than 5 mins but ended up staying almost 2 hours. Such a quaint and well maintained museum that really immerses you into how the community lived in the 1800s onwards. Neat displays and a cool way to show the young ones how tough life was in the good old days... definitely worth a visit
