This is an interesting monument but looking very tired. Great views along the beach. More interpretation would be good for some background to the oil industry. Would have thought Shell Brunei could afford a bit of maintenance and upgrading!

A great monument and an historic place to visit. There is a car park nearby. There are no food stalls next to it however Seria town is only a stone throw away.

This celebrates the billionth barrel and a country that found its wealth in oil. Belait is the district where oil is extracted so it's worth the 1h trip from Bandar Seri Begawan.

It is a monument to commemorate the production of billion barrels of oil in Brunei. Being a country with most of the revenue being generated from oil, it is something which people may relate to. However, it doesn't look like it is being maintained well....More
