I’ve been here several times over recent years. Wheelchair friendly. The food has improved and the cafe is much better now, but still needs to up its game! always chilly so wrap up warm for outdoors and indoors too.

Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash, they are not allowed in the visitor centre and cafe but if you walk along the river to Beeston marina you will receive a warm welcome at Steve's cafe and bar where there is Outside seating and a water bowl for dogs. You can do a nice circular walk back through Attenbough village to the main car park. Hope this helps.
