This small alley is what remains of the old style buildings and oldest part of the town on the island. The architecture is wprth a brief visit as you walk behind the Itsukushima shrine.

The alley from back of Itsukushima Shrine to Diashoin Temple. It has the oldest townscape of Miyajima with local residents, ryokan and historical houses such as Syokei Yashiki Residence.
