Decided to come here for the day with family had a great time, set off looked abit clouded and started spitting as we came through formby which played well no one charging for the car park !!! bonus more ice creams. About lunch the sun...More

Love this place especially in the quiet months , great for walking especially up and down the sand dunes , plenty of wildlife to see , highly recommended

The beach was beautiful and huge, so plenty of space for everyone! The squirrel walk next to it was amazing and seeing red squirrels in the wild was an awesome experience. Definitely recommend to anyone

in the sea everyone i was with got attacked by some gross leeches but the sand was amazing i spent hours climbing and riding with the huge sand dunes

Not sure what the rules are, but there were quite a few dogs running free when we were there.

Yes, agree with the comments about the tide coming in quickly around 3pm. I saw a few people barbecuing on the beach

Hi, not really, most access to the beach is via sand dunes which are not really pram friendly. if you can carry both over the dunes then the beach itself is friendlier.
