I don't get why people go there. This town has plenty of amazing beaches and this is probabily the worst

The entire island of Sant'Antioco is worth a visit when traveling to Sardinia. The beach of Sotto Torre in Calasetta is quite nice and not too busy. We had a great day here.

We spent 4 days on this beach and we loved it because it was easy to reach, with good parking and services.

This beach is a few minutes walk from the town centre. Even on a windy day the water stays fairly calm, and when the weather is sunny and still the pale green water is quite flat and warm.

Right outside the village. Easy walk. Enclosed by the terrain so quite calm and nice to visit. Was almost entirely local and Italian when we were there.

We had a picnic lunch above the beach greatly enjoying the outlook. Calasetta looks like a nice little low key holiday town.

Beach was windy and smelt of fish, unpleasant to stay on beach due to strong smell. Small blue stinging medusa washes up on beach and a lot of weed
