Overview

Visit the information centre at Deltaebre in the morning it closes about 1pm. Local produce for sale there as well as good information on natural environment birdwatching and tourist trips. This was a repeat visit and we would go again.

Just drive about ten kilometers east from Sant Carles de la Ràpila east on the narrow road nearest the see shore and there they are - many hundreds of flamingos together with various kinds of storks and other sea birds in the salt water ponds...More

If you are passing by or if you really want to see it, it is place to visit and enjoy. It is also a very good place for birdwatching.

This place is a magical find. Tranquil and deserted, beautifully laid out with walks, cycle paths and hides. And so many birds. We have rarely come across such a show. So glad to be staying down the road in Benicarlo.

Other than the beautiful scenery, and world class birdwatching, there is little to say.... deserted beaches, friendly bars& restaurants, good wine. I recommend this area to all who love the outdoors, beaches, water sports, food etc.

A great opportunity to see an amazing landscape not far from Barcelona. Bird watching and bike tours available , Plus you can enjoy incredible paellas different than the ones in Barcelona, at more reasonable prices.
