Have to agree with previous comment. Since my last visit in 2015 things have become so overgrown and lake is looking sad. Maybe the bird hide is better when bird food is put out but at the present time nothing to be seen. Overall very...More

Woods Mill is the headquarters of the Sussex Wildlife Trust but you would never know. It has not been very well managed. The ponds are not looked after properly and as for the bird hide, well you could sit there all day and not see...More

I love visiting Woods Mill, I remember visiting as a child, back when you had to pay to get in, nowadays it's free, so I drag my kids there as often as I can. There is a toilet block in the car park area, but...More

We had an absolutely fantastic afternoon stroll at Woods Mill on the last weekend in April. After just a quick 15 minute drive from central Brighton you're in tranquil countryside, surrounded by green fields and pretty woodlands. The woods are unmissable during spring, carpeted in...More

Went for a quick tour around this reserve today. It's only 10 mins from Brighton & Hove and it's a true wildlife haven. In just 45 mins walking round the nature trail we saw a Kestrel, 3 Buzzards and loads of other birds. Highly recommend...More

We came here for a walk in the fresh air this morning. Plenty of parking but I imagine in the warmer months it's harder to find a space. Toilets in the car park too which is handy. Most of the walkways are hard so not...More

Love soaking up the Sussex countryside here. Always take binoculars and a camera. Sparrowhawks are a common sight in the fields.

A nice place to visit, relaxing walks and good for photography. Educational for kids and adults too, no shop or food but Loo's and one disabled loo. Amble parking and free entry.

This is quite a small reserve but has hides, ponds (with pond dipping for children), lovely easy walks (ambling really) and an attractive picnic area. There is a surprising variety of habitats.

This is a beautiful place to go as couples or your family. Fantastic place for a picnic and a walk. Not very busy so you can walk round this beautiful place without disturbance.

Sorry, no dogs are allowed as it's a wildlife trust. Even though there are people that do much worse damage than dogs can.
