I got a lot of good bargains in the plant department due to the fact the garden centre in Thatcham was closing down.

Sad to say that this garden centre has now closed. Looks like the while site has been sold for housing development. Real shame as it was a lovely garden centre. I used it a lot.

Three of us went here for breakfast after one of us had previously been and enjoyed it. There was no breakfast menu to choose from so the full English was ordered for all of us. On arrival of said breakfast we tucked in. A couple of food items were swapped between us as not all items were liked. The one of us that had previously been, thought he remembered toast with the breakfast and also two eggs rather than one, but couldn't remember whether he'd ordered it maybe as an extra. We weren't asked if we wanted toast, nor were we asked how we wanted our egg cooked. The tomato was not cooked enough, only the top was cooked making it almost raw and nobody wants that with a cooked breakfast! As we left the manager asked if it had been worth waiting for and I honestly didn't know what to answer, it seemed unimportant that there was no ketchup available when there was plenty of everything else, but I somehow felt disappointed that it wasn't everything I'd hoped for.

Our visit today included an afternoon tea ,a present from my granddaughter .Derek the kitchen manager went out of his way to ensure we were happy with the presentation and quality of what we were served which I may say was excellent and very good value. The assistants were lovely and friendly and we had a lovely afternoon Tea .Thank you also Derek for taking a photograph for us to share and also for giving us excellent directions for finding our way home again. I must also add I bought lots of plants which are very good value for money so went home feeling very Happy. Well done Wyvale.
