Although shingle at the begining, it is a lovely walk to Alnmouth. Such a beautiful section of coast ; quiet, dog friedlly and only 10 minutes walk from the Village.

Whenever we have been to Warkworth beach, there is hardly ever anybody on it. This is definitely our gain! The beach is wide and beautiful. The sea was even reasonably warm despite the breeze!

This beach is off Warkworth; not off Amble. You need a car to reach it unless you like quite a long walk from Warkworth. It is a popular beach though; esp with families/kids. Lots of sand. Not rocky/pebbles.

Very clean beach with stunning views - would definitely recommend it if you're in the area. It was tucked away off the beaten track so was virtually deserted when we were there.

Love Warkworth Beach. It is so clean, the sea is lovely and sand is perfect for a lovely stroll. Plenty of little rock pools for investigating with children.

Loads of space and clean! Great for everyone- families and dogs too. No real commercial outlets around to spoil anything- so take a picnic and use the bins in the car park. There are toilets in the car park which is only a short walk...More
