It is a compact museum detailing the works of the local artists depicted including Eric Gill. It features the many covers of Penguin Essentials designed here. Its worth a short visit if you are in the area and there is nearby free parking.

Very small museum not worth the £7.50 entrance fee. Also it has an obsession with past resident artist Eric Gill conveniently ignoring the fact he was a serial abuser who should not be celebrated.

Small but mighty museum with a great shop and really interesting exhibitions on local but well known artists. Really pretty building, a pleasurable way to spend a morning or an afternoon!

A pleasant and attractive location . This is a village based museum and necessarily the exhibits are restricted. Good for wood art,

The building recently had a substantial makeover and it is done extremely well. The result is a wonderful exhibition space and the original building has been sensitively handled. The shop has a very fine array of books and bits and pieces. The cafe is lovely....More
