Hard to explain how special this removed island is, how it replenishes your mind and body, its exotic, yet feels like home? One of the most beautiful places I have been to, a total privilege. Dont be fooled, there is a lot to do here...More
Amazing beachfront hotel. Everyone travels by golf carts so no pollution. Beware bumpy roads might knock you off the cart! Luxury accommodations but worth the extra money. The water is the main attraction in Holbox so stay as close to it as possible, otherwise not...More
If you want to escape the hustle of Cancun book yourself on the Holbox pronounced Holbosh island tour, it takes about two 2 hours from Cancun but it is worth it. You will see traditional Mexican living on this unspoilt island which is also a...More

Hi, from the ferry to our Hotel which was a 5 min ride + it’s about 2-3 US dollars. From our hotel and to “remote” beaches we paid max 2-4 US dollars. Including tips. It is very very inexpensive with the golf carts. Did not rent bicycles, but saw signs for it all over, again, inexpensive. However, as there is no paved roads one will get very dirty due to the dust - and sweaty :)
