This is yet another example of typical over hype by the ignorant Americans. There is a huge banner saying this is among the top 10 public markets in the world. Well, the problem is that for the Americans the world extends to just that piece...More
We spent a morning here and it had a little of everything. This place is super crowded but worth it. We brought home alot of meat, fresh bread and some small knick knacks. Wish we had one of these in our town.
What a wonderful way to spend your time. Great historic location, fantastic journey through time visiting the market vendors, farmers market, flowers, smells, sights and music floats in the air. Bring the family or a date and explore and experience a wonderful place in the...More

As noted above in the two prior responses, there are several components to, and neighbors of, the Findlay Market. I must add, however, that this is a working market -- a foodie paradise to exaggerate a bit -- a place to buy food, cooked and uncooked (and many other items), some things only available there. It is also a popular spot for Cincinnati visitors. Consequently, it is almost always busy -- rain or shine, warm weather or not. That's why it's so popular. In short, it's busy because it's popular; and it's popular (for most) because it's busy!

it isn't a normal restaurant but lots of places to choose from and then they have seating inside and out. we love it because everyone in our party goes and gets what they want and then we meet at a table and eat. I love the deli sandwiches, my daughter- perogies, my husband gets BBQ or Vietnamese. Then we go the Italian place for picking our desserts!!
