We hiked Diamond Head the morning after we arrived... we were still on our home time so awoke early. Took an Uber to the entrance, paid our $1.00 walk-in fee. Picked up a map and started to climb by 8.30am. It’s paved a short way...More

Beautiful views from the top, but very crowded trail. Get there before 730! Parking can be difficult the later it gets. Not very physically demanding if you’re active at all. My dad with mild chronic back pain did fine. Good family hike.

Loved the views once we were at the top! It’s kind of frustrating hiking up (maybe it was the time of day that we were there) but I felt rushed and like I couldn’t pace myself. There was a consistent line of people all rushing...More

We caught the trolly bus which is a great experience in itself. We did this walk with my partner, her mum and our 2 kids (8 year old and 18 month old). The first part of the walk is a nice smooth pathway. The rest...More

I saw younger children on the hike- however it does make me nervous as there are lots of cliffs and open edges- while some are "fenced" i use the term "fenced" loosely- this hike it self is not that hard- but still not... More

The start of the trail is easy enough, but as you get higher, the trail get narrow, so it may not be possible to have 3 across. Towards the top, there are some scenic outlooks, but to teach the actual too, there are two... More
