Ok, there was free parking so that was good. Not many spots, but was able to score a place. The gift store is right inside which was somewhat interesting. The price is 13 dollars. Should be 5. The docent takes you around and talks about...More

This place is a little out of the way but has Ms Mitchell's apartment (although not original which I learned through reviews here, not our tour guide), a second floor museum and another building with a film and a few exhibits. Most people visiting here...More

This really isn’t worth the cost of admission. The apartment has burned and none of the furniture is original. You’re basically paying to listen to a man tell stories about Margaret Mitchell and see the corner where they think she sat and wrote the majority...More

This was a great place to visit, just across of my hotel. As a bookwarm, I felt good to stay in a neighbourhood where a famous book was written. Everyone who worked here was friendly and the guide ( a girl) was so knowledgable, she...More

This has a plethora of Gone with the Wind Memorabilia. Of course it is also the story of Margaret Mitchell author of of the book. This is in Midtown but walkable as well. There are docent tours who know it all!

Only visited the outside and it was nice to see it preserved in an area of mass redevelopment. Interesting also to note she only had a flat.

"Gone With the Wind" is a fantastic movie that never goes out of style, but the book is an experience not to be missed as well. After rereading Gone With the Wind a few years ago, I got interested in the love story of Margaret...More

Took our children aged 15 here and they both sat mesmerized throughout the entire tour. Even today, my daughter can recall a lot of what she learnt about Margaret Mitchel - both sad and fascinating. One our the highlights from our Atlanta trip.

There was a parking lot across the street. Although we used a Lyft while here, we stopped here twice and both times the lot was not full. Our first time was too close to closing time so we decided to return another day so as... More
