Whenever I travel I try to get as complete a picture as I can of the place I'm visiting. I couldn't come to New Orleans without visiting the Lower Ninth Ward and I am so grateful to Laura from lowernine.org for giving us such a...More

I specifically went to visit Burnell Colton's Market (Galvez Goodies) and to interact on a non-tourist level. It was worth the consideration since this area doesn't get the tourism dollars but they have a tourism need. So I made sure I spent the time, money...More

We were appalled at how little help these people have recieved. I would have assumed our governments would have done more to help. Shame on us for not helping more.
