The Great Smoky Mountains National Park simply amazes me each time I see it. Each one of the four seasons bring different scenery. This time it was fall colors in the leaves. You could spend several weeks here, and never see it all...amazingly beautiful!

First time in almost 25 years I've seen fall foliage. Timing was perfect as a cold front passed through 2 days earlier, and the trees at the higher elevations were turning. After 3 days there, even more trees were changing, and the air was cool....More

Mid October 2019 drive through the park to Cherokee and the trees were showing good color change. Left early to beat the large amount of traffic in this area now. Saw lots of Elk and took some excellent photos of the trees.

Giving 4 stars because the Cades Cove drive was way too long (3hrs) for not seeing much...fields, wild turkey and a few deer. However, Clingsman dome and the .5 mile hike was worth it with amazing views....Dont' wait to try to park in lot..park on...More

Absolutely Breathtaking!!!! Even though the roads are very windy...its an easy drive. All of the outlooks are equally amazing! Plan for 2 hours at least one way.

It depends on the weather, the forecast is for early and lots of snow. Don't get your hopes really high.

the two waterfalls we saw while in Gatlinburg Tn is not accessable by car. Dupont State park near Asheville NC has several that you can easily access and find without a guide
