The cemetery in Christ Church burying ground is more than just Ben Franklins grave. You can see his grave from the sidewalk but I recommend paying the $1 and walking the cemetery. There are a number of other patriots buried there.

Ben Franklin is one of our favorite historical figures. We homeschool and used this vacation as a field trip too so it only made sense to stop by his gravesite. We didn’t pay to actually go into the cemetery, but his grave is directly beside...More

Well worth seeing this grave in the corner of Christ church cemetery. However you can view it through the fence. So no need to pay !!!

We love historic cemeteries. This one charges $3pp, which is not horrible. You can ask for a guided tour and point of entry. They also have items for sale at kiosk.

Benjamin Franklin, to be honest, was a person I had little interest in. I don't know why I felt that way, but after visiting Philly in July I purchased a biography of Franklin and came to appreciate the man. He did a lot of incredible...More

Spoiler alert.... you can see the grave without going in, however we went in and paid the nominal amount so we could see other burial sites as well. Very humbling and awesome at the same time to see Benjamin Franklin's grave. Whether you are a...More

I would not pay to enter the cemetery to get the same view you get from the perimeter fence. It is worthwhile to pay your respects to this great patriot through the open fence. The cemetery people should have bricked this in and forced people...More

Waste of money to go inside. You can see it from the sidewalk. Unless you just like looking in old cemetery. Most stones are so worn you cannot read them.

Ok the cemetery opens at 10 and charges but you can see his grave from the sidewalk. It’s right by a large fenced area but you can see it easily

It is only $3 to get in and when you get in there is not only Benjamin Franklin's grave but other graves of many other people, including signers of the Constitution in there that you can learn about. However, if you just want to see...More
