I try to make it to Cabrillo NM when in San Diego. The scenery is fine, especially Point Loma, and the place offers a pleasant walk.

It costs $20 per car to enter this monument, but the views over San Diego and the surrounding areas are worth it. There are also various walking trails for the fitter and more adventurous visitor.
