A donation is expected as you enter the museum. There are many videos and exhibits that would be enjoyed by children. There are two floors to visit and a gift shop as you exit.

Ship is staffed by US Navy personnel who were very helpful and informative. The ship has been well maintained and it was great to see a piece of US history.

The museum is very well done with numerous interactive activities. It was just my wife and I, but if we had kids we could have spent a lot of time here. As it was we still ended up perusing for a couple hours. Very enjoyable...More

Very informative and great to see the ship being maintained. Gift shop had some nice things and prices were reasonable. Would recommend seeing if you have the time.

The US Navy operates this vessel and it is in pristine condition. The Naval enlisted men/women and officers that oversee and maintain this ship are the cream of the crop. Take time to walk the floors and imagine battle as it was then.

This was a great tour. The ship is amazing. The Navy personnel who are there really are proud of her and share lots of information. It’s free to go see it. Just have a valid photo ID.

I’m sorry I haven’t seen the question sooner! I think 1 hour would be fine. There isn’t much walking involved, but there are some stairs and tight spaces on the ship itself. We had no lines to get in really, maybe 5 people... More
