If you are in Chinatown then by all means take a few minutes and check out this place to see how fortune cookies are made. They give out a little sample of a tasty cookie and for a 50 cent tip, they allow pictures to...More

This is just a place to pop in quickly and see how fortune cookies are made. They let you write your own fortune, which was a fun concept. I believe it was $1.00 for one cookie or $1.50 for 2. It is cash only.

Amazing spot to witness hard work, and truly kind people. Yes this has become a tourist destination and it does get packed. So I read reviews and decided to get there early. They allowed me to film and take pics. They gave me samples and...More

If you are in Chinatown then you need to check out this place to see how fortune cookies are made. They give out tasters and for a buck you can take pictures of the team making them. Really interesting quick stop.

The concept is cool: Allowing you to personalize a message and put it inside a fresh fortune cookie. And I'll give it a 2 out of 5 rating because the giant fortune cookie is also a neat concept. But this really is a dumpy tourist...More

Tiny store in a Chinatown Alley. Had to hunt a little to see the sign. Front half is sales, back half is production. Wonderful vanilla smell. Free samples unexpectedly offered on entering. Hot off the press fresh cookies were terrific. Got to see how the...More

You can tour this small factory on one of the alleys in Chinatown. You see woman at a conveyor belt folding messages into the warm fortune cookies. great place to take kids but be prepared to wait in line.

ZERO STARS IF POSSIBLE Just read several reviews in the past years for this place. And still I had the same EXACT experience. Put this on yelp already. The owner belittles and degrades a young female employee for the past 6-8 min I been waiting...More

I wish I had known! I was so surprised and overwhelmed I didn’t buy enough! Try a free sample! See how fortune cookies are made. Buy them dipped in chocolate!!!! Fantastic! In an alleyway, small, but so worth it!

As the oldest in North America, San Francisco's
Chinatown is an exotic experience. A unique
neighbourhood decorated with colourful shops, historic
streetlights, hanging lanterns, and pagoda roofs
awaits behind the stone-carved dragon gates. Feast on
dim sum at the tea houses, or meet the locals who
gather at historic Portsmouth Square to play chess or
practice Tai Chi. Fish markets, produce stands,

I don't know for sure, but would guess normal business hours. Google Maps says 8am-6pm, 7 days a week. No tour, but you can see them pressing the cookies when you step inside. Very small place.
