You are in for a visual treat visiting City Hall. Most buildings cannot offer the stately scenery hat city hall SF does. Not only are there many people everywhere, you just may run into a famous person like I did in the hallway. Mr. W....More

Built in 1913 to replace its predecessor which crumbled during the 1906 earthquake this is one of the most beautiful buildings in SF. Outside it's quite formidable but at night, when it is lit up - Wow - what a sight. Joe DiMaggio and Marilyn...More

We took a tour, of course, after passing through the tight security. The building is massive. Did this city try to compete with the White House? I could see the State of California having humongous building like this, but how could the City rationalize the...More

The Golden Gate Bridge is worth seeing. You can walk across but is a long way. You’re better off seeing it from the park and watching the fog roll in. It’s very cool when the fog does roll in and you’ll get some great photos....More

I was really impressed with the structure. That was interesting and it moved very slowly. The tour, however, was pretty horrendous. The tour want impressive as we didn't actually go upstairs to the haunted floors. After the tour we got wander around a little.

We saw from outside. It's a great building you are going to see just in your walk to the city center.

Civic Center
Civic Center is the seat of power for all things
government and performance-related in the city.
Although its streets are best walked during daytime,
numerous cultural gems are within close proximity to
one another. The symphony, opera, ballet, and jazz
center offer year round entertainment within the
shadow of the city’s Beaux-Arts crown jewel: the gold
tipped dome of City Hall.

I agree that 'free parking' and "San Francisco" do not belong in the same sentence, sadly......
