I don’t know who wouldn’t like fisherman wharf. The place is truly amazing. Me personally I go there all the times for ocean view.

It's great to walk along the bay by Fisherman's Wharf. There are restaurants in this area and lots to see along the wharf.

We walked here straight from The ferry back from Alcatraz and took about 10 mins to do so. Great place to walk around grab food from the many places. The sea lions are a must see

Expected something different than I found here. Just lots of restaurants all offering mostly the same fish/steak options. Busy and crowded, not my cup of tea. Just take a walk through the area and then move on.

Nice area has some history as the fishing boats still arrive here. Lots of restaurants with fresh catch seafood. Boudin's bakery is located here worth the visit and the tour. Also the cafe food is very good. Many independent restaurants. Nice bay views.

We biked quickly through the Wharf and that's all we needed. Over rated... lots of restaurants and souvenir shops that don't seem very authentic. Spend time there at your own risk!

Busy and full of souvenir shops. Worth a visit if only to ticket off the bucket list. Couple of good museums relating to WW2 and plenty of places to eat.

I have spent enought time in S.F. to not be considered a tourist, and I don't go to the Wharf on every trip, yet I find myself (and my wife) ending up there frequently, anyway. Why? Because it is fun, and if you know where...More

This is a great place to visit especially for families and couples. There are plenty of places to shop, eat, and have entertainment. The best part is being able to watch the famed sea lions @ Pier 39 and the fantastic views of the Golden...More

We were there mid June. It was busy, but still had great views of Alcatraz, the Bay Bridge, and the sea lions. Shops were full of people so crowding was an issue, but only slight.
