I have to admit that I am not a "museum person" in general, but really enjoyed my visit to SFMOMA. I thought the variety of exhibits and the layout of the space was interesting and would recommend to all.
Vast, well lit art museum which has something for everyone - from photography to Rothko and everything in between.
I particularly liked the outside garden wall as an art form, towering over the museum’s glass panels.

The recently renovated museum is beautiful and the art is displayed in a spacious setting. There are always interesting special exhibits along with the permanent collection. Staff are friendly and helpful and the café is a welcome retreat after a few hours of viewing.
