We were staying at the Hotel Vitale near the Embarcadero and avoided paying the $80 overnight parking fee by parking here for $24. We stayed in the Embarcadero 3 garage. This shopping center spans several blocks and is a pleasant walk!

Considering this complex was conceived in the 50s-60s, it is quite magnificent to stroll through and see. One of my favorite things to do in New York City is The High Line, and Embarcadero Center kind of reminds me of a vintage version with the...More

It was fun strolling around the multi high rise blocks with a plethora of retail available. The Hyatt Regency Hotel in the center is stunning. An atrium spanning about seventeen storeys is breathtaking. We had some enjoyable refreshments here.

You can park here all day and take the trolley to the tourist areas and save money. The ferry building is right across the street and the trolley museum is close by.

This is a shopping mall and park with some public artworks. At Christmas, there’s an outdoor ice skating rink.

Nice downtown business Park, so to speak. There are a few shops, but a lot of abandoned spaces. Probably a nice building complex to work in. Parking underneath, but it's not cheap. This complex was built in the 70s, but it's held up as a...More

Without question a tourist mecca, but is that a bad thing? The Embarcadero Waterfront has an amazing collection of bars, restaurants, shops and views for days. As I mentioned, it's a major tourist hub, so count on the fact it's going to be crowded; no...More

On our San Francisco visits, we often wander through the ground level of this center en route to the Ferry Building, which stands by the bay. This entails crossing a street to reach the bottom of each of the four high-rise office towers here. The...More

Depending on where exactly your hotel is located, your best bet is BART since there are several stops along Market Street. The second best will be UBER.
