If you like old houses you’ll love this one. Beautiful stained glass and woodwork. How cool to have your own church sanctuary in your house. Takes about an hour to walk through. Self-guided audio tour is informative. Cost is reasonable considering what it must cost...More

This home has withstood many storms and is still standing. It has been beautifully restored and listening to the audio tour gives much interesting information.

Bishop's Palace is beautiful and well worth a visit. Two of the floors are nicely restored and the audio tour was interesting and engaging. Unfortunately the mansion was very warm inside which isn't surprising for September in Texas. We cut our tour short.

Bishop's Palace will not disappoint the history buffs. A beautiful home with lots of history. Craftsmanship you won't see again in this era. Beautifully preserved and a joy to see in all it's glory.

They have an audio tour that makes it extra special. Periodically they do have guided tours. We loved the audio tour as they have different numbers so the kids could pick the shorter version while us adults picked the longer. And they have staff on...More
