This is a house that the founder of the Blues lived in. It was moved here from another location. It is fascinating for about 7 seconds.

The park is at the bottom end of Beale Street. There’s a performance space and people set up to play music. Take 10 minutes to wander around.

Great small venue to see a summer concert. Take your lawn chairs if you don't have reserved seating. Beale St is fun but remember to be safe.

A nice little area for taking photos. Benches around for sitting down. It gives you the historic feeling of Memphis. Basic and simple. Good place to kill half an hour or so.

Memphis is one of our favourite places to visit. We've visited this place two times and always enjoyed being in this park. This time we would not miss this place. Handy Park is not a real park with a lot of trees, grass, kids playground,...More

Attended the Cigar Festival in Handy Park. Ample room to mingle and dance. Great stage area. Right off Beale Street across from Wet Willie’s Bar.

I enjoyed Beale street, so much to see, great food, music, the people in the shops were helpful, history all around you, this was a great follow up to Graceland! P.S good parking.

A nice place to take a break from the craziness of Beale Street, and an opportunity to take a few phots with the statue and the large guitars in the area.

We went to Beale Street on Saturday and Sunday during the day and nothing was going on at Handy Park. The only thing the park is used for is to shelter homeless people. Really sad, because it could be something.

I was passing through Memphis and heard a lot of good things about Beale Street. Naturally, I stopped in a couple of stores and bars. But, the most fun I had was at Handy Park. It was just my luck as there was a band...More
