This tour was all about one family. Our tour guide was excellent. She was very knowledgeable. Tour was a good pace, not too much walking. There were places to sit along the tour

Great mix of regional history and personal journeys of both plantation owners and slaves. We took the French tour and were impressed with the guide's knowledge of everything from architecture, to construction technique, to the tools of slavery.

Laura Plantation is a great place to discover and understand the story of the 4 generations owners and the context of that slavery time. We recommend. It’s not the most beautiful of the area, but if you want to have a story: it’s the one

If you are flexible with the tour times and don’t mind waiting possibly you should be fine. You can also call the Plantation- they are very helpful.
