Hard to believe it was under consideration for a wrecking ball. Amazing architecture and history. Went there with the Chicago greeters but local tours are possible. Central to downtown.

It was a stop on a food tour. The beauty of this building fed my soul. I wouldn't have known to visit this if not for the tour guide. It's free and the Tiffany glass domes are one of a kind.

This is one of the must beautiful buildings I’ve seen in my life! The intricate tile work and designs are unmatched in beauty and grandeur. This former library is an incredible building showcasing the influences of its time period. Highly recommend a tour!

This building is absolutely amazing. The time and work it took to make it look that way is unbelievable. You are amazed in the artwork, in the textures, the massive doors. I was speechless.

This facility is a cherished place for the ages, from origins of the city and country to contemporary artisans on display. If you visit the Bean, cross the street and see this cultural asset. Way cool.

Downtown / The Loop
Often visitors' first stop in Chicago, The Loop is a
good starting point to sample the city's energy and
flavor. This central business district boasts
Michelin-rated restaurants, upscale hotels, premier
shopping, and enough arresting architecture to keep
your camera busy for hours. You won’t find too many
photo galleries of downtown Chicago without a shot of
