Our group of 4 booked the 90 minute wine , cheese and tour. Calcareous has a beautiful tasting room and some great views. We also found the history of the winery very interesting. And a special highlight was chatting with their microbiologist, Al , while...More

We visited Calcareous on a tour with Wine Wrangler. Of the 4 wineries we visited that day, Calcareous was our favorite and the only one where we actually had trouble deciding which bottles to bring home because we loved them all. Huge thank you to...More

Great staffs, Lisa was very helpful, tons of knowledge on the wines. She has been longer than the other (new Lisa). Sorry, no last name. John the manager was very helpful and tentative. Can't wait to come back.

A bit of a trek to get to (consider the drive part of the adventure down a beautiful road)--but the view was fantastic and delicious wines.

This vineyard sat a top a hill with an amazing view. The wines were excellent and the vineyard team was helpful. No complaints and will return on the next trip.

We enjoyed most all of the wineries that we visited on our very short wine tasting trip. Calcareous had the most delicious wines out of all of them! The Vin Gris Cuvee and Kate's Zinfandel were the clear winners in my opinion!

As I recall, there is a sign asking for dogs to be kept off of the property. But as I do not have a dog, I could be wrong. There ARE snakes, and warning signs about them (I've never seen one), but no wine dog.
